Organic Period Pads in Dubai

Adaye is a Dubai brand. We make 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton pads, tampons and pantyliners — free from chlorine bleaching, synthetic fragrances, dyes and rayon — delivered across Dubai in 24 to 48 hours, or available in store at Scoop Wholefoods in Springs Souk.

Made in Dubai, for Dubai

Adaye was founded here by Shereen Abdulla. Not a European label with a regional distributor, not a dropshipped import — a brand built in this city, for women living in this climate.

That last part matters more than it sounds. Dubai summers are hard on conventional period products. Synthetic topsheets and plastic backsheets trap heat and moisture against skin already dealing with 45°C and high humidity, and that combination is what turns an ordinary period into a week of irritation. Organic cotton breathes. It is a small material difference you notice most in exactly the conditions we live in for nine months of the year.

What "organic" actually means on a pad

There is no legal definition of "organic" for period products the way there is for food. Any brand can print the word on a box. So it is worth knowing what to look for.

Most pads sold as organic in Dubai use organic cotton in the topsheet only — the layer you touch. Underneath it, the absorbent core is usually wood pulp or a superabsorbent gel, and the backsheet is petroleum plastic. The organic cotton is a small fraction of the product by weight, and the claim on the front of the pack is technically accurate.

Adaye pads are 100% organic cotton in the topsheet and the absorbent core — the part that sits against you for hours and holds the fluid. The cotton is GOTS-certified, which means the whole supply chain is audited rather than the finished product spot-checked. The backsheet is plant-based PLA, not petroleum plastic.

If you are comparing packs on a shelf in Dubai, the question is not whether a pad is organic. It is which layer.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy organic pads in Dubai?

Order directly from adaye.co for delivery across Dubai in 24 to 48 hours, or buy in person at Scoop Wholefoods in Springs Souk. Adaye is also available through Noon Minutes, Careem Quik, Kibsons, Namshi and Let's Organic.

How fast is delivery in Dubai?

Orders placed on a business day are usually fulfilled the same day and reach you within 24 to 48 hours anywhere in Dubai. Subscription orders ship free. For same-day, Noon Minutes, Careem Quik and Kibsons carry Adaye.

Are Adaye pads made in Dubai?

Adaye is a Dubai brand — founded here and run from here. The pads themselves are produced in East Asia in a facility working to GOTS standards, and the tampons are made in Europe, because that is where the specialist organic cotton manufacturing capability sits. The cotton is GOTS-certified and traceable wherever it is made.

Why are organic pads better in the Dubai climate?

Heat and humidity are the main cause of period-related skin irritation here. Conventional pads use synthetic topsheets and plastic backsheets that trap moisture against the skin. Organic cotton is breathable, which reduces the heat-trap effect — and the difference is most noticeable in a Dubai summer.

Why does Adaye cost more than supermarket organic pads?

Because of where the organic cotton actually is. Budget pads marketed as organic typically use organic cotton in the topsheet only, with a wood pulp or gel core and a plastic back. Adaye uses GOTS-certified organic cotton in both the topsheet and the absorbent core, which is most of the pad by weight and costs considerably more to produce.

Do you deliver to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?

Yes — across the whole UAE, and onward to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman.
